PEOPLE are reminded that the Sherwood Community Cafe is now open for business again.
The cafe, based at Woodthorpe House in Mansfield Road, opposite Woodthorpe Park, closed before Christmas due to funding problems but reopened in January.
Margaret Hilton, a member of the community centre, said she was pleased the doors were open again and encouraged people to come and try the healthy dishes.
She said: “The cafe offers a wide range of hot and cold home made food.
“All the food is made on the premises and we want people to know that the cafe is definitely now open again.”
The cafe is open every Monday to Friday from 9am until 3.30pm.
It is also able to cater for small children’s parties and staff are keen to know what customers would like to see on the menu for these events.
As well as home-made food, there is home-made jewellery on sale at the cafe, made by a local crafts person.
And there are a range of classes and activities which take place at the community centre, including a playgroup, the Nottinghamshire Bobbin lace Society, post natal yoga classes and a lunch club.
